Nancy Loudermilk, Board Chair and Director of Education

Nancy has been involved with the Angaza Nuru Ministry since it first began at Priest Lake Presbyterian Church. Unable to make the first Journey to Kenya in 2014, she was on the travel team for both the 2018 and 2023 “Journeys”. Nancy has a degree from Middle Tennessee State University with a major in criminal justice administration as well as attending paralegal school. Her work experience includes the legal department for what is now known as Cox Automotive as well as working at Mecum Auction, Inc., as Compliance Officer. Now retired from full-time work, Nancy enjoys the work she is doing with FAN and fully believes that God called her to it. She has established wonderful friendships in Kenya and adores the many children that she has met in the village of Bodoi.

Billy Keegan, Treasurer

Billy Keegan serves as Treasurer for Friends of Angaza Nuru. A financial advisor with Creative Investment Group in Nashville, TN, Billy holds a Master’s degree in Management with a concentration in Finance from Merrimack College. Originally from Massachusetts, he relocated to Nashville in 2023 with his wife, Rosie. Billy is also a recent graduate of the Nashville Young Leaders Council.

Jeremy Tucker, Secretary

Jeremy and his family have felt called to support FAN and Angaza Nuru ever since learning of it while Jeremy worked as a Ministry Resident at Priest Lake Presbyterian Church. Jeremy has degrees in Theology and Missiology from Lipscomb University, and has primarily worked in engineering design, manufacturing, and industrial maintenance.

Judy Achieng, Board Member and Founder

Judy Achieng is the founder of Angaza Nuru.  After learning of the poverty and lack of resources of the people in Bodoi, Kenya, where her father was a pastor, Judy started the ministry in the U.S. in 2011.  Since its inception, Judy was an instrumental member of the Angaza Nuru U.S. Steering Committee at Priest Lake Presbyterian Church, and is now a member of the Friends of Angaza Nuru Board of Directors. Judy’s role as a FAN ambassador includes building relationships to further the mission and serving as a liaison to ministry leaders in Kenya.

Bobby Francis Binns, Board Member

Bobby Binns graduated from Bible College in Johnson City, NY studying Pastoral and Bible Education, and has worked in the Mission field in both Suriname and Liberia. He has served as a member of the Lions Club of Mount Juliet and is past Chair of the Wilson County Democrats. Bobby and his spouse have been passionate supporters of FAN for many years.

Andy Lahr, Director of Fundraising  

Andy completed his MBA degree in the summer of 2026, and recently moved to Phoenix, Arizona to work as a meteorologist with Arizona Public Service. He also worked in meteorologist and climate analyst positions between the National Weather Service and the US Air Force as a civilian from 2014-2024. Andy learned about FAN through the Nashville Young Leaders Council program, and felt called to join the board after learning about FAN’s amazing work sharing Christ’s love with the people in Bodoi, Kenya. He is passionate about living out his faith through service and showing kindness to all people.

Clarissa Lee, Marketing and Social Media

Clarissa is an undergraduate at Wellesley College majoring in American Studies and Biology. She joined Friends of Angaza Nuru (FAN) through a Wellesley summer program and has continued volunteering since. She contributes to newsletters, scholarship letters, and other ongoing projects for FAN!
