Most nonprofits’ annual budgets strive to keep administrative expenses and fundraising to 15% to 25% of their total budget. FAN is proud to keep this number to less than 5% of our budget. However we do have required ongoing administrative expenses such as liability insurance, compliance fees, and software costs.
A monthly sustaining donation towards our General Undesignated fund is a vital way to help us continue our mission as we work with our Kenyan partners to support our core mission in Bodoi. Even $10 a month makes a difference!
In addition to Admin costs, we also use Undesignated funds to fill unbudgeted needs for our Angaza Nuru Kenyan partners, such as buying teaching supplies or sports equipment.
Monthly donations are also welcomed towards our pillars of Promoting Education or Alleviating Hunger.
